The regeneration and development of Poole's waterfront will soon include this part-four/part-eleven storey apartment building on the Holes Bay Road close to the main railway station. Having been created in the early 1990's when the new road was built, the site was only recently identified as being suitable for development. The proposed building will, along with other recent additions, form part of the north-western gateway to the town centre, and will be prominent in views across Holes Bay. (more…)

Sea View Place, and the converted office building adjacent, is an example of the increasing move towards city centre living in Southampton. In the past 5+ years more people have seen the benefits and attractiveness of living close to the city’s key facilities including those offering jobs, transport or leisure. Our second scheme with Dandara this brownfield site was home to Drayton Dairy but has been vacant for a number of years. The scheme is medium density and mainly comprises two storey houses with a single three storey apartment building overlooking the site entrance.
Having designed the reserved matters submission for the landowner we were pleased to be retained by Dandara to help them implement the scheme, incorporating some of their house types. The approved scheme includes a mix of family houses, a small apartment building, and a comprehensive public realm design including two garden squares.
